Third International Workshop on Electromagnetic Compatibility and Engineering in Medicine and Biology
The aim of the workshop is to bring together scientists, engineers, manufacturers and users from all over the world to discuss common theoretical and practical problems, describe scientific and commercial applications and explore avenues for future research in - and connections between - these two dynamical domains: Electromagnetic Compatibility & Engineering in Medicine and Biology.
The main topics are focused on the characterization of electromagnetic environments, associated with field influence on technical or biological systems. What makes the EMC&EMB workshop special is its novel approach towards considering interconnections between the electromagnetic fields and medical bioengineering.
Thus, topics include, but are not limited to:
- EMC in electrical and electronic engineering
- Electrostatic discharge (ESD)
- EMC measurement, instrumentation and testing
- Modeling/simulation and computational electromagnetic
- Survey of electromagnetic environments
- Electromagnetic shields and absorbers
- Electromagnetic interference characterization/control in medical devices and hospitals
- Biological and health effects of electromagnetic fields.
- Electro and magneto therapy
- Electromagnetic/bioelectromagnetic signatures acquisition and processing
- Methods in medicine and biology based on electromagnetic fields
