2014 Loughborough Antennas & Propagation Conference (LAPC) celebrating 10 YEARS of serving the AP community
10th and 11th November 2014, Loughborough, UK
**** 2-page summary paper submission deadline is 28th May 201 4****
We invite you to submit summary papers for consideration for presentation at LAPC 2014, the UK’s largest annual conference dedicated to the fields of Antennas and Propagation. LAPC has a truly global reach; more than half our papers in 2013 came from outside the UK. LAPC 2014 is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
This year, we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. To mark this special milestone, we will be inviting leading guest speakers to present key developments made over the past 10 years in the fields of:
1. Education in Electromagnetics, Antennas and Propagation
2. Handset antennas
3. Antennas and propagation measurements
4. Advanced materials for antennas
With onsite 4-star accommodation, LAPC 2014 provides a convenient, comfortable and friendly environment for networking and offers a productive opportunity for increasing research impact and mobility. A range of leading companies associated with the field will also be there showcasing cutting edge technology, modeling software and materials. In appreciation of the hundreds of delegates who have supported us in the past, LAPC will be holding registration and accommodation fees at 2013 prices; fees start at just £175.
LAPC 2014 covers all aspects relating to (but not limited to):
- Antenna theory, design and measurements
- Indoor and outdoor propagation
- Earth-space and terrestrial propagation
- Circuits, feeds and matching networks for antennas
- Biomedical applications and effects of antennas
- Metamaterials, EBG, FSS and active materials
- Computational and numerical techniques
- Near fields and coupling
- Energy harvesting and scavenging
- On-body antennas and channels
- Emerging AP trends
Please visit for full details on the scope of the conference.
Following the conference, on Wednesday 12th November there will be FREE day-long EM simulation workshops by CST (Microwave Studio) and ANSYS (HFSS).
