ICXRI 2014 - International Conference on X-Ray & Related Technique in Research and Industry
Topics/Call fo Papers
A bi-annual conference, ICXRI was held since 1992 and has produced many research papers and bolstered numerous collaborations in the past. At ICXRI 2012, a total of 151 participants attended ICXRI 2012 with 132 scientific papers were presented (oral and poster). A selection of 94 high quality manuscripts have been published in Advanced Materials Research 2012 by Trans Tech Publications Ltd.
This year, ICXRI 2014 is organized by University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. The conference will take place in KSL Hotel, Johor Bahru, Malaysia on 11-13 August 2014. This year we hope to gather more participant whiles maintaining high quality and integrity of scientific contributions found in the ICXRI series. We would like to invite all scientists, researchers and sponsors to participate in the coming ICXRI 2014 and publish their efforts in high-quality indexed publications.
The Conference will cover (but not limited to) technical and poster sessions of the following topics:
Materials Characterisation
Medical / life Sciences
Quantitative and Qualitative XRD
XRF Analysis
Semiconductor and Thin Films
Modelling / Theoretical
Safety and Related Nuclear Techniques
Instrumentation and Computation
X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy
X-Ray Techniques for Materials Characterisation
All submitted extended abstracts will be reviewed by the technical committee and authors will be notified of paper acceptance and instructions for preparing final paper by 1st April 2014. The final manuscript for publication in the conference proceedings is due 1st June 2014.
Selected papers will be reviewed and published in Advanced Materials Research, Trans Tech Publication. Advanced Materials Research (AMR) Journal (ISSN: 1662-8985) indexed by Elsevier: SCOPUS www.scopus.com dan Ei Compendex (CPX) www.ei.org, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA) www.csa.com, Chemical Abstracts (CA) www.cas.org, Google and Google Scholar google.com, ISI (ISTP, CPCI, Web of Science) www.isinet.com, Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) www.iee.org.
The proceedings will be published in Advanced Materials Research periodical which is online available in full text via www.scientific.net.
ABOUT XAPP
The X-Ray Application Malaysia Society (XAPP) is a non-government organization aiming at promoting the development and dissemination of information on X-ray application techniques and related technology and promoting cooperation among members and other organizations of similar objectives.
It was founded in 2000 by the committee member of 2nd Asian Conference on X-Rays and Related Techniques in Research And Industry (ACXRI 2000) that was jointly organised by Malaysian Institute for Nuclear Technology Research (MINT), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Malaya (UM), Standard Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) and Malaysian Nuclear Society (MNS).
Currently, XAPP enjoys the support of over 200 members in the government, private, and corporate sectors (as corporate member) and maintains two international linkages with the The International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD) and Curtin University of Technology (Australia).
Objectives of XApp
Disseminating information and usage of X-ray characterization techniques.
Fostering interaction among users and suppliers engaged in the use of X-rays.
To held workshop, conference and other related activities.
To build rapport among users in Malaysia.
Encourage relationship of XAPP with international X-ray society.
