WHI 2014 - Special Session on Watch-over and human-interaction
Topics/Call fo Papers
There is a growing awareness that a watching-over system for various types of personalities, who are not only healthy adults but also vulnerable persons such as elderly people, disability persons, and children, is required to realize adequate human-machine interaction. That is, consideration of individual difference of users becomes more important to enhance ability of the human-machine interface/interaction systems. Therefore, we would like to propose a special session entitled as “”Watch-over and human-interaction”" to discuss the measurement technologies, methods, and analyses to know individual mental status and social characteristics. Main topics for the special session are development of emotional measurement system using brain wave, experimental report to evaluate social properties by analyzing the human behavior such as motion and utterances, and the remote measurement techniques of human motion and biosignals. We planned to organize this session with the six papers that relate to these issues.
