The Intelligent Transportation Society of America, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), is excited to kick off the ITS America 2014 Symposia Series in Dallas, with an event focused on Integrated Corridor Management. Attend the ICM Symposium to learn about the development, deployment and operations management of a new project known as Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) along U.S. 75, which extends 28 miles from the City of Dallas to its northern suburbs.
Dallas was selected by the U.S. Department of Transportation as a pilot site for the ICM project because it ranks as the fifth most congested city in the U.S. Under the ICM project, all transportation assets in an area are treated as part of a single system, providing a more reliable trip and less congestion to travelers.
