International Visual Practitioners Conference 2010
The Ripple Effects of Visual Practice:
Engaging Stakeholders, Embracing Collaboration, Enabling Creativity
August 3 ? 6, 2010: SAVE THE DATE
Mark your calendar TODAY for August 3 ? 6, 2010 and plan to join with colleagues from around the globe for the 15th Anniversary Conference of IFVP! In honor of this significant milestone, we’re returning to the organization’s roots in the beautiful San Francisco Bay area. The venue for our 2010 conference is the incomparable Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City. This peninsula property is situated on a beautiful lagoon in the San Francisco Bay; adorned with walking and biking trails, views from every guest room, and a laid back atmosphere combined with all the amenities of a world-class resort.
Come join us in August as we renew long-time acquaintances, create new friendships and LEARN what’s new and happening in the global community of visual practice. The volunteer conference committee has been exercising their collective creativity to develop an exhilarating agenda that is guaranteed to exceed your expectations! This year, for the first time, we are offering Graphic Recording 101 as a pre-conference tutorial, enabling all attendees to enjoy a full three days of regular conference sessions and activities. We’re certain the speakers, interactive sessions, panels and social/networking opportunities will keep you engaged and on the edge of your seat ? or better yet, recording at the wall!
IFVP consistently delivers the essential information and industry best practices you need to succeed in your visual practice. The conference is the best investment you can make in your career and your craft. Join us as we gather insights, hone skills and build our professional network. This year’s theme is “The Ripple Effects of Visual Practice: Engaging Stakeholders, Embracing Collaboration, Enabling Creativity.” Don’t miss this opportunity to engage, collaborate, and celebrate! Look for more information and registration details in the coming weeks at www.IFVP.org. We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco this August!
