International Workshop on Service-Oriented Computing and Engineering

in Conjunction with

The Twenty-Second International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE 2010)

Hotel Sofitel. San Francisco Bay, USA , July 1? July 3, 2010
(URL: http://www.ksi.edu/seke/seke10.html)
Organized by Knowledge Systems Institute, U.S.A.
THEME

With the characteristics of loose coupling for extension and evolution, interoperability for heterogeneity, and neutral technology for synergistic collaboration, Service-oriented Computing and Engineering (SOCE) has become one of the most important techniques to support and realize Service-Centric as well as Information and Communication Technology-based business applications. With such characteristics, SOCE has moved from providing solutions only to business domains to a number of domains including e-health, medical care, multimedia, education, and entertainment, among others. Yet, to answer such domain-specific needs, methodologies and techniques behind SOCE also require enhancement and evolvement towards further advances. This workshop welcomes original and unpublished research achievements/solutions to SOCE in different domains. Additionally, we are interested in novel service-oriented methodologies and technology from the service-centric viewpoint.
GOALS

The international workshop on Service-Oriented Computing and Engineering brings together researchers and industry practitioners to exchange latest innovative ideas, practical solutions, and tools to cope with practical issues and challenges in the real world. Additionally, this workshop provides a great forum for engineers and researchers to discuss and report innovative service-oriented solutions, tools and standards as well as share practical project experience and lessons.
TOPIC OF INTEREST
