The workshop on "Sensor networks Theory and Applications for Environmental Issues" aims to bring together researchers from many scientific areas. The workshop will address recent advances in theory and practice of sensor networks to solve environmental problems (e.g., in biology, in health sciences, in geography, in weather, ...). The main objective is to show how sensor networks can be used in many areas and how they have been deployed.
The SeNTApE Workshop topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:
Sensors Network Architectures and Protocols
Cross-layer Design and Optimization Methods
Distributed Algorithms
Energy Management
Fault Tolerant Algorithms
Modeling and Simulation
High Performance Routing
Network Management
Security and Dependability Issues in Sensor Networks
Event Detection, Classification and Tracking
Data Gathering, Aggregation and Dissemination
Data Fusion, Compression, and Processing
Hybrid Methods
Mobility Support and Management
Distributed Decision
Real Deployment
Sensor Networks and Systems for Pervasive Computing
Environmental Applications
Sensor Networks for Earth and Space Science Applications
