China FTTH Forum 2010 - 6th annual China FTTH Forum
Topics/Call fo Papers
Greetings and welcome to the 6th annual China FTTH Forum. This Forum was first held in Beijing in 2005. Since then, the Forum has grown substantially from a gathering of pioneers with a strong vision, to a major industry event that it is today. Each year you can be sure of finding lively discussions about planning, design, and deployment of optical fiber connections and their applications in the last mile.
As always, the primary mission of China FTTH Forum 2010 is to promote the value of FTTH networks, encourage FTTH deployment and make a contribution towards the healthy growth of the FTTH market and industry. Delegates can share knowledge and experiences on both national and international levels. For 2010, the educational program addresses important commercial, operational, management, service and technology issues. The lessons learned will enable your organization to take full advantage of the significant opportunities offered by FTTH as it continues to make great strides globally and within China. Widely recognized as the ultimate technology for providing high speed broadband, the best is yet to come for FTTH. According to industry sources, by 2012 FTTx subscribers is expected to top 50 million nationwide.
Once again, welcome to Beijing and to the China FTTH Forum. Whatever your organization’s role in the FTTH ecosystem, you are certain to find this event both stimulating and rewarding.
Sincerely,
Mao Qian

The vision of FTTH is about to become an exciting reality in China, with China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile all on the verge of large-scale optical network rollouts. The arrival of optical in the access network means carriers are able to meet the growing demand for bandwidth-intensive applications like IPTV and video and roll out a swathe of new convergence services.
China FTTH Forum 2010 is the sixth annual conference designed at sharing information and insights into this powerful new technology and the massive changes it will drive in the telecom business. The two-day event is a forum for discussion about the market drivers, financial models, deployment options, trials, case studies and applications.
