FSTA 2014 - The 2014 International Workshop on Future Security Technologies and Applications
Topics/Call fo Papers
The Internet, the cellular and the wireless systems are converging now, thus giving birth to the future convergence Internet. The future convergence Internet is becoming technologically-diverse, administratively fragmented and versatile, thus exhibiting security vulnerabilities in the system at various levels. With the growth of service availability, criticality and sensitivity of the new super network is increasing, too. There is a need for structural security capability at the architecture level, at the system level, at the service level, at the process level, down to the protocol level in order to protect operators, users, service providers and content providers in this complex system of systems. Security deployment needs to be carefully evaluated to anticipate and weigh its functionality, flexibility and performance.
The special session on ‘future security technologies and applications’ aims to serve as an international forum for researchers and practitioners willing to present their early research results and share experiences in the field of future Internet and security, centered on the topics highlighted in the following list.
