The 40th Design Automation Conference (DAC) is an integral part of the 2014 ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conferences and Computers and Information in Engineering Conferences (2014 IDETC/CIE) and will take place in Buffalo, NY, from August 17 to 20, 2014. This Conference is sponsored by the Technical Committee on Design Automation, a member of the ASME Design Engineering Division. The Design Automation Committee invites papers in all areas of design automation related to mechanical and engineered systems, including design representation, design optimization, design evaluation, and design integration. Papers in other areas of design automation are also welcome, and papers with examples from industrial practice are also strongly encouraged.
