The International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology (IWAIT) is the well-known international workshop that gathers researchers, professors, students and interested persons in the field of advanced image technology. Previous IWAIT conferences have been held annually since 1998 in Eastern and South Eastern Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. The 17th IWAIT will be held at the Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, on January 6-8, 2014.
Topics
The technical program will consist of, but not limited to, the following topics of interest.
- Image / Video Processing - Broadcasting / Communication
- Image / Video Coding - ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems)
- 3DTV / FTV (Free-viewpoint TV) - Multimedia Applications / Systems- Pattern Recognition
- Virtual Reality- Computer Graphics - Animation
- Computer Vision - Data Hiding
- Image / Video Quality Assessment - KANSEI (Emotional Engineering)
Paper Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit an abstract of no more than one page of A4 size paper in English. The original full papers of up to six pages including figures and tables are then submitted. Excellent paper / presentation prizes are awarded. Details will be described at the official workshop website ( http://www.iwait2014.org ).
A special section of IWAIT 2014 will be published in January 2015 on the ITE Transactions on Media Technology and Applications. All the authors who present their work at IWAIT2014 are invited to submit the improved work to this special section as transaction papers. The details will be at
