The International Workshop on Machine Learning in Smart electrical Grids provides an international forum on the latest technologies and research in the field Smart Grids. MLSG-2014 is organized in the context of the LINEAR project. MLSG 2014 will be held in Hasselt, Belgium (2-5 June 2014) in conjunction withthe 4th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Information Technology.
Scope
This workshop provides a multidisciplinary collaborative forum for researchers and practitioners to submit papers presenting new research results and novel ideas related to the theory or the practice of smart grids. This workshop also invites researchers to submit their work focusing on the data mining, management and configuration for electrical grids and the integration of renewable energy resources.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
Forecasting energy consumption and energy prices
Forecasting grid imbalances
Nomination strategies for current and future electricity markets
Control strategies for production and consumption units in a smart grid environment
Adaptive grid topologies
Distributed control application applied to electrical networks
Stochastic control applications applied to electrical networks
Smart heat networks
Submission and proceedings
All accepted papers will be scheduled for oral presentations and will be included in the conference proceedings published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series on-line. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference to present the work.
Authors are requested to submit their two pages summary and the final paper of maximum 8 pages electronically using the online conference management system in PDF format by the deadlines stated in Important Dates.
The submission processes will be managed by easychair.org. If you have used this system before, you can use the same username and password. If this is your first time using EasyChair, you will need to register for an account by clicking "I have no EasyChair account" button. Upon completion of registration, you will get a notification email from the system and you are ready for submitting your paper. You can upload and re-upload the paper to the system by the submission due date.
