ADR2D 2014 - International Workshop on Automated Demand Response for Residential Districts Across Europe
Topics/Call fo Papers
This workshop on Automated Demand Response for Residential Districts provides an international forum on the latest technologies and findings from pilot projects across Europe exploring smart grid technology, dealing with user acceptance and determination of economic value.
The workshop is organized in association with the Flemish Linear project, and will be held in conjunction with 'The 4th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Information Technology' (SEIT 2014).
Scope
This workshop provides a multidisciplinary collaborative forum for researchers and industry to submit papers presenting new research results and findings from pilot projects focussing on smart grid technology for residential end users. This workshop also invites researchers to submit their experience on implementation, end user interaction and business and market models.
Each session of this workshop will focus on a subtopic, where the different projects present their experience, followed by a panel discussion.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
Pilot projects: architecture, implementation, test results
Role of Demand Response for different stakeholders
(system operators, aggregators, balance responsible parties, end users)
End user reward models and user behaviour
Smart Grid Ready appliances: availability and standardization
