The 6th Mexican Conference on Pattern Recognition (MCPR2014) will be held in Cancun, Mexico from June 25 to June 28, 2014, under direction of the Computer Science Department of the National Institute for Astrophysics Optics and Electronics (INAOE) and the Computer Science Department of the Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP); with the consent of the Mexican Association for Computer Vision, Neurocomputing and Robotics (MACVNR), which is affiliated to the IAPR. MCPR2014 attempts to provide a forum for the exchange of scientific results, experiences, and new knowledge, as well as, promoting co-operation among research groups in Pattern Recognition and related areas in Mexico and around the world.
Very well renowned Professors have been invited to give keynote addresses:
Professor Ching Y. Suen.
Director of Centre for Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence. Concordia University, Canada.
Professor Jake K. Aggarwal.
The University of Texas, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, USA.

All the 10 A4-pages papers will be submitted and presented at the conference in English. All submissions will be blind peer reviewed for originality, technical content and relevance to the theme of this conference by three members of the Scientific Committee. The final acceptance will be based upon peer review of the full-length paper.
Accepted papers will appear in the workshop proceedings published by Springer in the LNCS series.
The papers should be submitted electronically before January 24, 2014 through the EasyChair System and prepared following the instructions from LNCS series.
Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and to present the communication at the conference, if it is accepted.
