In the last three years, international trade environment has changed drastically following the worldwide economic recession caused by the financial crisis. Furthermore, some additional threats, such as piracy and terror attacks, have affected the international trade and transport. Under these situations, the importance of more advanced integrated transport and logistics system is increasing to improve the global economy. T-LOG 2010 will be a good opportunity for the professionals of transport and logistics to gather information and knowledge, address the problems related to transport and logistics system, and have further discussions to overcome these problems.

The first International Conference on Transportation Logistics, T-LOG2005, was held in Singapore. Following its success, the second conference, T-LOG 2007, was held in Shenzhen, P.R. China, with more than 100 academic papers presented. The next T-LOG 2010 will be held from 6 to 8 September 2010 in Fukuoka, Japan. Fukuoka has a nearly a-thousand-year history as an international trading city and has historically firm relations with Asian cities, especially northeast Asian cities. Fukuoka, with a few international container ports and airports, is now growing to be a gateway city connecting Asian cities and Japan, and is suitable as the host of the T-LOG 2010 conference.

 Objective
T-LOG is aimed to provide a technical forum conferring current problems, solutions and the future development of transportation logistics. Practitioners and academics will gather to present, discuss and exchange their knowledge and experience in fostering ideas. Thus, it will provide an excellent opportunity for transportation and logistics professionals to exchange technical information and learn from each other's successes and experiences. Technical tours in Fukuoka will be arranged to visit transport facilities and factories which have notable technologies related to logistics.
