VLSI-DAT 2014 - 2014 VLSI Design, Automation and Test
Topics/Call fo Papers
In view of the exploding popularity of electronic consumer products and the interrelationships between the technology and design communities, the executive committees of the 2013 VLSI-DAT and VLSI-TSA symposia not only planned one joint plenary session featuring two excellent keynote speeches by Dr. Vida Ilderem of Intel and Dr. Diego Olego of Philips Healthcare, two joint invited sessions on the first and second day of the conference were also organized to stimulate interactions between these groups in the course of the collocated three-day event. Please check the spotlight for more information about the 2013 VLSI-DAT and VLSI-TSA symposia.
The 2014 International Symposium on VLSI Design, Automation and Test (2014 VLSI-DAT) will be held in the Ambassador Hotel, Hsinchu, Taiwan during April 28-30, 2014. Sponsored by Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and technically sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the VLSI-DAT provides excellent opportunities for close interaction between industrial and scientific researchers via presentations on innovations and achievements related to VLSI design, automation and test. In 2014, the VLSI-DAT and the VLSI-TSA will be held again in the same week with three-day overlap. In response to the need of interactions between the technology and design communities, delegates registered for either 2014 VLSI-DAT or 2014 VLSI-TSA will be able to attend the program of both symposia. Original unpublished papers are solicited. Accepted papers will be published by the IEEE and be included in IEEE eXplorer after being presented in the symposium.
The 2014 VLSI-DAT and VLSI-TSA will feature a joint plenary session, two joint invited sessions, along with a a luncheon talk. The 2014 VLSI-DAT alone will feature 2 half-day tutorials and 2 and half days program including 2 plenary talks, 2 industrial sessions, 1 special topic sessions, regular paper presentations and poster session. More details of the Symposium program will be released in January, 2014.
Hsinchu City was the "Treading Center" of the near area. It is the first developed city of the north Taiwan. With its Science-based Industrial Park, Hsinchu is famous for its world-class foundries, TSMC and UMC, and many world-leading fabless IC design companies such as MediaTek, Novatek and Sunplus. It is also characterized by the National Tsing Hua University, National Chiao-Tung University and ITRI, the well-known research institute. Join us at the 2014 VLSI-DAT to experience vibrant Hsinchu city in which the technical and cultural atmosphere have been harmoniously connected. More VLSI-DAT information will keep in updating.
