After four very successful previous issues WasteEng2005 (Albi, France), WasteEng2008 (Patras, Greece), WasteEng2010 (Beijing, China) and WasteEng2012 (Porto, Portugal) we are pleased to invite you to participate in WasteEng 2014: 5th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorisation to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 25 ? 28, 2014.
This conference, as usual, is a great platform for the world scientists and industries in the environmental and energy sector to meet and share ideas and experiences on recent work as well as on new perspectives resulting from recent innovation. During this conference, there will be various symposia and panels to discuss a variety of topics regarding present progress and innovation in scientific research and technology development in related sectors and activities.
A Social Programme will also be scheduled, offering ample opportunities to renew long-standing friendships and forge new ones from all around the world. The conference will also provide an excellent opportunity to experience traditional South American culture.
Plenaries, Keynotes, Oral presentations, Symposia and Posters will cover the following themes related to Waste and Biomass for Sustainable Development:
TOPIC 1: Resources and Feedstock
