The Western Social Science Association invites papers and panels on American Studies topics for its 56th annual conference, April 2-5, 2014, at Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The WSSA's annual meeting presents panels in 30 different academic fields, offering an extensive, interdisciplinary range of subjects for scholars to explore. The general call for papers (across all disciplines) may be found online at:

We ask for individual paper--or panel--proposals on American Studies topics. The subjects may range very broadly across the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
