LSVisCom 2013 - The 1st IEEE Workshop on Large Scale Visual Commerce
Topics/Call fo Papers
Advances in camera enabled mobile device, display technology, processing power and internet bandwidth have made commerce ubiquitous. Today, the commerce experience has shifted from text to other modalities such as visual and audio. However, little emphasis has been given on how computer vision can improve this novel commerce experience and simultaneously benefit from it. Real world constraints such as speed, memory and large scale data provide a new perspective to computer vision algorithms. This workshop focuses on nurturing such symbiotic opportunities between computer vision research in academia and industrial labs.
