Recent advances in video content capture, storage and communication technologies have ushered an era of unprecedented growth of video content. Large-scale video search and mining thus has been an active research area, involving computer vision, multimedia, machine learning, and data mining. This workshop is to bring together leading researchers in the related fields to promote this new research direction, assess the state of the art, and establish the technical foundation. The workshop aims to provide an interactive platform for researchers to disseminate recent research results, discuss potential solutions, and identify application opportunities for large-scale video content search and analytics.
