AME 2012 - International Conference on Advanced Mechanical Engineering
Topics/Call fo Papers
AME 2012 is a forum for presentation of the recent advancement and trends in the area of mechanical engineering. Cross-fertilization of manufacturing control and automation Engineering, CAD/CAM/CIM and simulation, instruments and vibration control and materials processing and control is strongly encouraged. The forum aims to bring together researchers, developers, and users from around the world in both industry and academia for sharing state-of-art results, for exploring emerging trends and new challenges in advanced mechanical engineering.
There is a “blind” review process for all submitted papers, with reviews conducted by the Program Committee and other qualified reviewers under their supervision. Acceptance is based on content, presentation and suitability for the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference no later than May 5, 2012, or the paper will be withdrawn from the proceedings.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
1: Engineering design in a global manufacturing context
2: Concurrent, collaborative, and distributed engineering design and manufacture
3: Design tools, methods and techniques
4: Product life-cycle modeling and management
5: Computer-aided design and manufacturing
6: Quality, robust design, and variation management
7: Global Manufacturing and Systems
8: Product modeling and visualization techniques and advancement
9: Modeling and simulation of workflow in design and manufacturing processes
10: Virtual design and manufacturing technology
11: Advanced manufacturing processes
12: Enterprise resources planning
