CCC 2013 - Crowd and Cloud Computing Workshop
Topics/Call fo Papers
Crowd computing combines mobile devices and social network interactions to achieve a large-scale distributed computing system. Through this aggregate bandwidth and processing power, it creates an opportunity to use crowds of mobile devices as a high performance computing that enables mobile devices to share work, utilise local recourse, and human collaboration in the mobile context. Cloud computing, on the other hand, provides a mechanism for computing as a service. Since cloud computing technology is maturing, crowd computing is able to learn some technical aspects from cloud computing, such as resource sharing and computation. We welcome papers in the broad areas of crowd and cloud computing in this workshop. All accepted papers (and presented at this workshop) will be extended for publication in journal special issues.
