WACV 2014 - 2014 IEEE Winter Application and Computer Vision Conference

Welcome to the home page for WACV2014. While the acronym is being kept, IEEE’s and the PAMI-TC’s premier meeting on applications of computer vision has been promoted to be a full IEEE conference, rather than an IEEE workshop. This will mean broadening of topics to include all of Computer Vision and the addition of area-chairs.
WACV2014 will also be introducing a new two-round paper submission process, inspired by ICML2013. The idea of two rounds is to provide authors of high-quality papers that are done over the summer to gain advanced standing for their “accepted” papers, while still allowing the usual WACV tradition of a short deadline for papers. Papers from the first round will be eligible for reconsideration in the second round, either without change or updated based on the reviews from the first round.
WACV2014 will be held March 24-26 in Steamboat Springs, CO. The dates were delayed a bit later than usual to allow greater separation from ICCV and NIPS, both of which are in 31 December 2013.
