both industry and academia are undergoing a profound transformation with the use of largescale, diverse, and high-resolution datasets that allow for data-intensive decision-making, at a
level never before imagined. The Cloud Computing and Big Data symposium solicits highquality original research papers in all aspects of Cloud Computing and Bid Data with emphases
on Cloud Systems, Cloud Services and Big Data Management in Clouds. Topics of interests
include, but are not limited to:
? Cloud Computing Architectures and Systems
? Cloud Resource Virtualization and Management
? Virtual Machine Management in Clouds
? High Performance Computing in Clouds
? Big Data Management in Clouds
? Big Data Processing in Clouds
? Stream Data Processing in Clouds
? MapReduce Systems and Applications
? GPU-accelerated Cloud Computing
? GPU-accelerated Data Processing
? Data Center Networking
? Software Defined Networking for Cloud Computing
? Software Defined Networking for Data-Intensive Applications
? Cloud Storage
? Green Cloud Computing
? Mobile Cloud Computing
? Cloud Computing in Social Networks
? Cloud Computing for Internet of Things Page 2 of 3
? Cloud-assisted Multimedia Systems
? Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
? Software as a Service (SaaS)
? Platform as a Service (PaaS)
? Big Data as a Service
? Sensing as a Service
? Security and Privacy in Cloud Computing
