IIH-MSP 2013 is the ninth International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding and Multimedia Signal Processing. This year the conference is co-sponsored by IEEE and hosted by the Beijing University of Technology, China. The proceedings shall be included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
In IIH-MSP 2013 the Advanced Biometrics session(s) shall cover the following aspects:
1. Improved methods for biometric recognition and performance evaluation
2. Biometrics as services
3. Security and privacy issues
4. New biometric sensing technologies and new applications
We solicit submissions in full-papers presenting high quality original research and development related to
Domain 1: Improved methods for recognition and performance evaluation
? New biometric modalities / features
? Continuous biometric authentication
? Multi-biometrics and fusion
? Sample and sensor quality assessment
Domain 2: Biometrics as services
? Biometric web services
? Cloud biometrics
? Off-the-shelf technologies for biometrics
Domain 3: Security and privacy issues
? Biometric template protection methods
? Anti-spoofing devices and algorithms
? Security and privacy assessment
Domain 4: New biometric sensing technologies and new applications
? New sensing technologies for biometrics
? General-purposed devices for biometrics
? Mobile biometrics
? Medical biometrics
Participants are requested to send their papers in full-paper format, with a length between 4 and 6 pages in A4 size (pages beyond 4 are subject to additional cost). Submissions should be sent in MS-Word or PDF format according to IEEE standards to the following e-mail addresses:
