MARS 2013 - MARS : 2013 National Conference on Microwaves, Antennas & Remote Sensing

National Conference on Microwaves Antennas and Remote Sensing (MARS) provides an opportunity for the scientists and researchers working on various aspects of Microwaves and its applications to come together and discuss the results and innovations.
The broad objective of the Symposium is to develop the awareness regarding Role, applications and Challenges of satellite communication & Remote sensing in particular Microwave wave Electromagnetic spectra over the Himalayan region. This conference aims at the design of microwave antennas in various communication systems, applications of microwaves and millimeter waves in remote sensing pertaining to Himalayan region. Microwaves and millimeter waves have been playing and will continue to play a vital role to meet the technical and tactical communication requirements especially in such inhospitable and difficult terrains of the country like Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh regions etc. where laying the optical cables will neither be possible nor commercially viable in near future. There will be lectures by eminent researchers/professors/professionals in the related areas drawn from Defence Research & Development Organization, Indian Space Research Organization, USAC, Industry and academic institutions of National & International repute. The conference will be organized in different sessions relating to different areas.
