The International Workshop on Cloud Computing and Information Security (CCIS 2013) aims to provide a high-level international forum for researchers and engineers to present and discuss recent advances, new techniques and applications in the field of Cloud Computing and Information Security.
Cloud Computing has become a scalable services consumption and delivery platform in the field of Services Computing.The technical foundations of Cloud Computing include Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Virtualizations of hardware and software.The goal of Cloud Computing is to share resources among the cloud service consumers, cloud partners, and cloud vendors in the cloud value chain.The resource sharing at various levels results in various cloud offerings such as infrastructure cloud,software cloud , application cloud, and business cloud.software cloud. Information security is the ongoing process of exercising due care and due diligence to protect information,and information systems, from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, destruction, modification, or disruption or distribution. The never ending process of information security involves ongoing training, assessment, protection, monitoring & detection, incident response & documentation, and review. This makes information security an indispensable part of all the business operations across different domains.
CCIS 2013 ONLY accepts unpublished research papers. Submitted conference papers will be reviewed by technical committees of the Conference. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding by Atlantis Press and be online available in full text via the publication platform, then be submitted for indexing to Thomson ISI ( ISTP, CPCI, Web of Science), Scopus (by Elsevier) and EI/Compendex. “10?20 papers will be selected as the "best paper", and (after extension) will be recommended for publishing in some International Journals. ”Parallel & Cloud Computing (ISSN Online 2304-9456)
