The 12th International Conference on Telecommunications, ConTEL 2013,
will be held in Zagreb, Croatia, on June 26?28, 2013.
The theme of ConTEL 2013, "ICT Everywhere," aims to reflect on current
and emerging networking technologies that enable ubiquitous computing
and communications as key drivers of the information society.
The conference program will feature technical paper sessions, keynote
talks, and workshops, covering a broad range of topics in
telecommunications.
The conference is organized by the University of Zagreb - Faculty of
Electrical Engineering and Computing, and technically cosponsored by
the IEEE Croatia Section and IEEE Communications Society Croatia Section.
* Scope
We are soliciting contributed technical papers, special session
proposals, and workshops proposals referring to the following topics
of interest:
- Future Internet and next generation networking
- Converged networks and applications, including telecom NGNs and IMS
- Software technologies and service platforms for emerging services
- Web services, middleware, software agents
- Multimedia applications and services, rich communications services,
and networked games
- QoS and QoE assessment and provisioning
- Cooperative networking, machine-to-machine communication
- Service infrastructure and management: virtualization, Grid and
cloud computing services
- Traffic measurement, modeling, simulation, analysis, and engineering
- IPv6 transition, operation and research issues
- Telecommunication market, including business models, SLA, pricing,
and regulatory issues
- Context awareness, personalization, content-based and social
networking
* Special sessions
- Special session in NFC and Contactless Communication Technologies -
enhancing functionalities and improving interoperability,
organized by Michael Gebhart, NXP Semiconductors, Graz, Austria
- Special Session on eAccessibility and User Experience (eAUX),
organized by Zeljka Car, University of Zagreb
* Workshop
The conference program also features the 3rd Workshop on Regulatory
Challenges in the Electronic Communications Market, on June 27, 2013.

* Submission and Review Process
Papers submitted to ConTEL must not have been published, submitted,
or accepted for publication elsewhere. IEEE policy regarding
plagiarism and duplicate submission/publication will be strictly
enforced. Papers must be submitted electronically via EDAS
(http://edas.info/N13077). The submissions should not exceed 8 pages,
and should follow the IEEE double-column format for conferences.
Templates are available on the conference website.
Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by
the TPC, and evaluated for originality, technical correctness,
relevance, and quality of presentation. The proceedings will be
published in the ConTEL 2013 Proceedings and in IEEExplore(tm), and
submitted for indexing in INSPEC.
