The 2013 International Conference on Knowledge Science, Engineering and Management (KSEM 2013)provides a leading international forum for the sharing of views, ideas and original work among researchers, practitioners and developers to enlighten new insights into KSEM-related areas. The conference attracts numerous high quality, state-of-the-art research papers from all over the world. KSEM2013 to be held in Dalian, China is the sixth in the conference series, following five successful events in Guilin, China (KSEM2006), Melbourne, Australia (KSEM2007), Vienna, Austria (KSEM2009), Belfast, UK(KSEM2010), and Irvine, USA (KSEM 2011).
