Introduction
This special issue will examine the scope of public administration and information technology, examining the influence of IT implementations on fiscal crisis in public administrations. Scholars and practitioners are invited to submit original research that broadly addresses important issues and innovations in the field of government reform, fiscal crisis and information technology.
Objective
The objective of this special issue is to examine the impact of IT on reforming governments to face financial crisis. The research question is: Can e-government help policy makers to respond to the fiscal crisis?. Papers may discuss the adoption of IT in governments in either developed or developing countries to face fiscal crisis. Papers in this special issue may also examine differences in fiscal crisis between public administrations that have implemented IT and those that have not.

Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit a 2-3 page paper proposal for this special issue on Fiscal Crisis, IT, and Government Reform on or before January 31, 2013. Authors of accepted proposals will be notified about the status of their proposal by February 28, 2013. All submissions must be original and may not be under review by another publication. INTERESTED AUTHORS SHOULD CONSULT THE JOURNAL’S GUIDELINES FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS at http://www.igi-global.com/Files/AuthorEditor/guide.... Papers must follow APA style for reference citations.
