Book Title: Security for Multihop Wireless Networks
To be published by:
Auerbach Publications, Taylor & Francis Group, USA
Objective of the Book
This book will provides broad coverage of multihop wireless networks (such as mobile adhoc networks, wireless sensor networks, wireless mesh networks, personal area networks etc) security issues including cryptographic coprocessors, encryption, authentication, key management, attacks and countermeasures, secure routing, secure medium access control, intrusion detection, epidemics, security performance analysis, security issues in applications. The contributions identify various vulnerabilities in the physical layer, MAC layer, Network layer, transport layer, and application layer, and focus on ways for strengthening security mechanisms and services throughout the layers.
This book will include the information of multihop networks security, current trends in its research and development, and future expectations in the relevant areas. The book could be a valuable reference book for researchers, industry professionals, academics. It could be used as a textbook for graduate students as almost all the concerned areas will be covered.
