PhilGEOS 2012 - 1st Symposium on Geomatics in the Philippines

Everyone is invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations in the parallel technical sessions of PhilGEOS 2012.
Researchers, faculty members, geomatics professionals and practitioners, as well as undergraduate and graduate students conducting researches and applying Geomatics in education, resource mapping and assessment, disaster risk assessment and mitigation environmental management, and related areas are encouraged to submit abstracts.
Abstracts should have a maximum of 500 words, and as much as possible, focus on the symposium theme “Philippine Geomatics: practice, application and accomplishments”. Each abstract may fall under any of the following symposium topics:
? Geomatics Education
? Geospatial Technology for Earth Resource Mapping and Assessment
? Geomatics in Disaster Risk Assessment and Mitigation
? Geomatics and the Environment
All submitted abtracts will be screened by the PhilGEOS Technical Program Committee.
Abstracts should be submitted online through the Abstract Submission page. Authors who have successfully submitted their abtracts will receive a e-mail notification.
