The conference date of CFI 2012 is now shifted to the middle of September and co-located with Global Future Internet Week (11-15 September, 2012). This will enable all CFI 2012 participants to enjoy the excellent programs such as Global Future Internet Summit and Tutorials. Detailed program for GFI Week 2012 is currently being arranged. However, from the GFI Week web site (http://fif.kr/gfiw/11), you can find out that, last year, we had enjoyed the exciting talks of global leaders in the field of Future Internet. We are trying our best to continue the wonderful experience for this year. Also, the in-cooperation with ACM SIGCOMM is now approved and accepted regular/short papers are planned to be included into ACM Digital Library.
Background
The International Conference on Future Internet Technologies 2012 (CFI 12) will be the seventh event in the series. Researchers from Asia, Europe, America and elsewhere gather in this high profile forum to discuss their work in progress and visions for long-term research activities. The goal of this event is to foster international research collaboration in the field of future Internet research, covering clean-slate Internet architecture concepts, new networking protocols and related global-scale/ programmable network testbeds.
Topics
Contributions are solicited in all areas of research related to the Future Internet and applications on that network. Topics include, but are not limited to:
Clean-slate/dirty-slate Internet architectures
Addressing and routing architectures for Future Internet
Management and control of future networks
Security, privacy and trust issues
Novel wireless, mobile & sensor network protocols
Delay- or disruption-tolerant networking (DTN)
Real-time creation of custom protocols for current communications
Geographic routing and location-aware services
Data-oriented architectures and information-centric networking
Situated and autonomic communications (SAC)
Machine-to-machine communications ? the internet of things
Programmable testbeds for the evaluation of Future Internet services
Software-defined networking and network virtualization technology
Novel networked/mobile application concepts leveraging cloud computing
Economics aspects of future Internet
Paper Submission
Papers must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication. Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be considered. Submissions should follow the ACM Proceedings format (LaTeX or MS Word). For submission template and other details, please refer the submission guideline from CFI 2012 web site. Papers will be published in a conference proceeding and on-line. If you have any further questions, please send an email to jongwon_AT_nm.gist.ac.kr.
Regular paper: Regular paper submission should be maximum SIX A4 pages in length.
Short (work in progress) paper: Short paper submission should be maximum TWO A4 pages in length.
[New category] Poster: Poster abstract submission should be ONE A4 page in length.
