Topics/Call fo Papers
The Second International Workshop on
Future Intelligent deserT (FIT2012)
Oct. 26-28, 2012, Shanghai, China
Conference Website:http://www.ofs2.sjtu.edu.cn/FIT2012.html
The desertification and sand storm are becoming a serious problem in the every corner of the world. Researchers from various communities including physics, communications, computers, robotics and environmental studies are paying much attention to the issue. A general consensus is that the information technologies will play an important role for the solution. FIT2012 will be the premier forum for the presentation of new advancements and research results in those related areas. The theme of FIT2012 is “Intelligent Desert: Make the City Safer!” We will focus on the relationship between the desert and the city, and how to scientifically control the desertification and develop the desert resource. World-class scientists from related areas will be invited as keynote speakers to present their great ideas on the topics above. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a full paper for review. Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered. Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of FIT2012 by IET, which will be included in IEEE/IET Xplore data system, and indexed by Insepc. and expected to be indexed by EI Compendex). The details on manuscripts submission can be found on conference website: www.ofs2.sjtu.edu.cn/FIT2012.html.
