Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its applications (SITIA) is an annual scientific conference the which was made by Electrical Engineering Department, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya. The Seminar will be held on May 23rd, 2012 at Teknik Elektro ITS, Surabaya. The seminar seeks to promote and disseminate knowledge of the various topics and technologies of electrical engineering field and is therefore aimed at assisting researchers, and engineers to keep abreast of new developments in their specialist fields and to unite in finding alternative solutions to current issues.
“Optimization of Renewable Energy based on Information Technology” is chosen as the theme of SITIA 2012 since the technology has became a major trend in worldwide. Climate change concerns, coupled with high oil prices, peak oil, and increasing government support, are driving increasing renewable energy legislation, incentives and commercialization. While many renewable energy projects are large-scale, renewable technologies are also suited to rural and remote areas, where energy is often crucial in human development. Mixed with all this technology understanding in information technology, the better of humanity is hoping to realize.
The Organizing Committee invites the authors to submit their high-quality papers representing their original research result. Please consider the possibility of your participation are also advance your team and members to join in splendid campus of ITS.
Presentation Guidelines:
1. Presentation must be in Bahasa Indonesia or English, but for international session, presentation must be in English.
2. Presenter must prepare his/her presentation in Microsoft Power Point file (*.ppt or *.pptx).
3. Presentation file must be submitted to Organizing Committee before starting presentation.
4. Each paper must be presented by one presenter only. If presenter would like to delegate another person to present his/her paper, he/she must contact the Organizing Committee first.
5. Presenter must use laptop provided by the Organizing Committee.
6. Each presenter will have maximum 15 minutes for presenting his/her presenter, including discussion time. The allocated time may vary depending on room capacity.
7. Organizing Committee may cut presentation or discussion when it exceeds the allocated presentation time.
