Communications in Mobile Computing (ComC) is a new open access, online-only short paper journal that explores issues around mobile computing and user experience.
In this themed collection of articles, ComC will explore technology, computing and the user experience in the emerging Internet of Things. The theme collection is based on contributions to the Internet of Things workshop at Beijing Normal University that takes place in July 2012, and on invited and submitted articles from the IoT community.
We invite articles no longer than 4 pages (A4, not including images, tables and figures), on any topic that illuminates the ways the Internet of Things will be delivered, experienced and evaluated and the technology that will create it. Articles can take any form, including case studies, design sketches, position pieces, and research or methodology articles. We anticipate publishing 6-10 articles in this theme collection.
Articles should be submitted to Dr. Yunchaun Sun (yunch-AT-bnu.edu.cn) by 15 May 2012. Advices on submissions can be obtained from Dr. Yunchuan Sun or Prof. Peter Thomas (peter.thomas-AT-manifesto-group.com).
The Exploring the IoT theme collection will be internationally-peer-reviewed and published online by Springer Open. APC waivers are available for articles from workshop contributors and other selected articles.
