CrowdKDD 2012 - International Workshop on Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery with Crowdsourcing
Topics/Call fo Papers
In recent years, the emergence of powerful crowdsourcing platforms such as Amazon's Mechanical Turk, Livework, Crowdflower, DoMyStuff, etc, has greatly broadened the scope of applications that can utilize crowd intelligence via novel computational and economical mechanisms. We are only beginning to understand how the landscape of our field is going to change when the crowd is becoming an integral part of the entire data mining process including data collection, annotation, modeling to evaluation. This one-day workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners of crowdsourcing within and beyond the KDD community. The meeting is intended to provide a forum for sharing latest developments in the methodologies and applications of crowdsourcing based data mining.
