UIDL 2012 - International Workshop on User Interface Description Languages: from Models and Requirements to Use Cases and Software
Topics/Call fo Papers
This workshop is aimed at investigating open issues in research and development for user interface engineering based on a User Interface Description Language (UIDL) in interactive applications. Both fundamental and applied aspects will be addressed: on the one hand, aspects that are relevant to the definition of a UIDL will be addressed (e.g., models, meta-models, language and notation); on the other hand, considerations induced by the operationalization of a UIDL will be discussed (e.g., software support, rendering engines, requirements for software and use cases, and case studies, ranging from simple case studies to real-world case studies). Evaluation aspects of fundamental and applied aspects will be also of particular attention. Finally, method engineering of user interface development life cycle based on a UIDL will be also discussed.
