The 28th Annual Computer Security Applications Conference will be held in Orlando, Florida on December 3-7, 2012.
ACSAC brings together hundreds of security professionals from academia, government and industry with an interest in applied security to learn about the latest advances in the field, as well as to exchange ideas and experiences. The conference is renowned for its worldwide attendance, high quality program, and attendee networking.
The ACSAC technical program is composed of keynotes, peer-reviewed paper presentations, case studies, panels, posters, and works-in-progress. In addition, two days of workshops and professional development training are offered, which along with the technical program, qualify for continuing education credit. Proposals and nominations are accepted for all aspects of the program. ACSAC enlists leading practitioners in the field to review submitted papers, accepting 20% or less of submissions in the last couple of years. Posters and works-in-progress provide additional venues for practitioners to present their work and solicit feedback on ideas. The diverse, multi-track program is sure to engage attendees' interests throughout the conference.
With many entertainment options and non-stop flights from across the United States and around the world, Orlando is a premier destination. The conference will once again be held at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa in the Walt Disney World Resort®, which received praise from last year's attendees for its accomodations and meals. Conveniently located across the street from Downtown Disney, this vibrant Orlando hotel offers easy access to entertainment, shops, and restaurants.
On behalf of the ACSAC Organizing Committee, I invite you to join us in Orlando this December, and encourage you to consider making a submission to the program.
Robert H'obbes' Zakon
ACSAC 2012 Conference Chair
