The 13th International Conference on Engineering Applications of Neural Networks (EANN) will take place in London between 20th - 23rd September 2012.
Since the first conference in 1995, EANN has provided a vibrant discussion forum on engineering applications of neural networks and related artificial intelligence methods. Neural networks are adaptive learning systems that increasingly form part of data mining and pattern recognition solutions, on the web and in embedded systems, from financial data analysis and surveillance to medical informatics and virtual learning environments.
EANN promotes neural networks and associated techniques and the significant benefits that can be derived from their use. The conference is not only for reporting advances, but also for showing how neural networks provide practical solutions in a wide range of applications.
In previous years EANN attracted a broad spectrum of delegates from across the world presenting an amazing range of neural network and related applications. Variations and extensions of many methods are well represented in the papers, ranging from support vector machines, fuzzy reasoning, and Bayesian methods to snap-drift and spiking neurons.
EANN 2012 is supported by the INNS (International Neural Network Society) and more specifically by the EANN Special Interest Group.
The conference is of interest for engineers, researchers, academics and managers from universities, research centres and industry. Papers are presented orally and not more than 2 sessions are held simultaneously in order to offer a real forum for discussion. Submissions are welcome from all fields of informatics and engineering and some special sessions, dedicated to these different fields, are organised.
Both theoretical and practical work should be submitted, but the authors are encouraged to focus their paper on the presentation of an application featuring experimental results on real world data. There will be an exhibition of software and products from researchers and companies, and submissions of proposals for exhibits are welcome. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
