Brief Description
The Computational Intelligence and Engineering Session of the 11th IEEE International Conference
on Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing (ICCI*CC 2012) invites the submission of
original and unpublished research papers. This special session seeks to highlight the l atest
developments in the research area of computational intelligence by bringing together researchers and
practitioners. All accepted papers in this session will be included in the Proceedings of ICCI*CC’12
published by IEEE CS Press and indexed by EI Compendex and DBLP. Selected papers will be
published in International Journal of Cognitive Informatics and Natural Intelligence (IJCINI),
International Journal of Software Science and Computational Intelligence (IJSSCI), and others.
Scope and Topics
This session focuses on the following fields (but not limited to):
? Theory and application research of Machine learning systems
? Theory and application research of Fuzzy neural networks
? Theory and application research of Chaotic systems
? Theory and application research of Intelligent controls
Important Dates
Submission of full papers: March 19, 2012
Notification of acceptance: April 30, 2012
Camera-ready paper: May 31, 2012
Conference dates: August 22-24, 2012
Instructions for Authors
Full papers should be around 6-8 pages in length in IEEE double column format as posted in the web
site (http://www.ucalgary.ca/icci_cc/ICCICC2012). An electronic copy of paper in PDF format in
English should be send to zhangd-AT-ecs.csus.edu or pengjun70-AT-126.com. Same electronic copy must
