The difference between good elearning and effective elearning is always evident and shows up as part of user experience. Competent elearning allows people to memorize a message and serve a purpose. But effective elearning helps students remember what they're being taught by using compelling examples, instructionally sound lessons and effective reinforcement. Handled properly and executed effectively, great elearning gives students the desire to take advantage of deeper resources.
According to Cisco, "Elearning is not just etraining. Elearning is the overarching umbrella that encompasses education, information, communication, training, knowledge management, and performance management. It is the web-enabled system that makes information and knowledge accessible to those who need it, when they need it?anytime, anywhere."
This conference will not only be an event to consider aspects of executing elearning platforms, but will also encourage discussions on human communication, meaning-making, collaboration and user experience. The purpose of this conference is to share ideas and thoughts on how human-centered interface design and usability contributes towards a vastly superior user experience.
We are inviting reputed keynote speakers for the conference and is looking forward to engage the participants in interesting discussions spanning all aspects of information design, elearning, language studies, technical communication, and usability besides other areas. We will especially invite student participants to present at this conference. Students will find this platform a useful stepping stone towards future accomplishments in their areas of expertise.
