SSMIT 2012 - The 2012 FTRA International Workshop on Strategic Security Management for Industrial Technology

Advanced industrial technologies has been emerging as a core component, which help defend the national competitiveness and providing a chance to rule the global market. But, recently other competitors such as countries and enterprises are doing their best to have advanced technology of certain corporation. That is, it causes a great deal of economical loss. The industrial technology leakage tend to halt the ordinary business process of enterprise, causing tremendous economical property loss as well as damage to the competitiveness of enterprise due to the leakage of technology which needs to be effort and time-consuming. Furthermore, side effect of technology leakage results in loss of prestige of country and makes it difficult to bring in more investment. In this workshop, we analyzed current status and limitation of the industrial security technology (physical security, technical security, managerial security). Furthermore, we expect to deal with methodology and evaluation system from efficient industrial security management systems.
