PACAM 2012 - Twelfth Pan American Congress of Applied Mechanics (PACAM XII)

The American Academy of Mechanics (AAM) is pleased to announce that the Twelfth Pan American Congress of Applied Mechanics (PACAM XII) will be held in Port of Spain, Trinidad in January 2012, in collaboration with the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. PACAM conferences are held every two years in early January, always in a Latin American or Caribbean venue. The objective of PACAM is to bring together researchers, practicing engineers from North America, Latin America and the Caribbean for presentation and discussion of their advances in the field of Applied Mechanics with a view to strengthening the links between scholars in the region. The conference gives participants the opportunity to exchange scientific, technical, computational and experimental ideas.
