2022 Asian Conference on Frontiers of Power and Energy (ACFPE 2022) will be hosted in Chengdu, China from Oct. 21 to 23, 2022, which is organized by Sichuan University, technically sponsored by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Sichuan Society for Electrical Engineering, Sichuan Electric Power Technology, Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME), IEEE PES Chongqing Chapter and IEEE IAS Shanghai Chapter, supported by Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems, Power System Protection and Control, media supported by Proceedings of the CSEE, CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems(CSEE JPES), Automation of Electric Power Systems, Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy (MPCE), Power System Technology, Journal of Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Engineering, High Voltage, Electric Power Information and Communication Technology, Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering, Power Generation Technology. ACFPE 2022 is a conference which aims at bringing together participants from academia, industry, engineering, and administrative organizations around the world to exchange novel ideas, discuss innovative designs, explore enabling technologies and open problems, and share field trial experiences in power and energy areas. ACFPE has been an active platform which provides participants to establish business or research relationships and to find the partners for future collaboration.
●Publication & Indexing
All submissions will be peer reviewed, and the registered and presented papers will be published in The Conference Proceedings of ACFPE 2022 (Online Publishing), The publisher will submit articles to IEEE Xplore and submitted to Ei Compendex, Scopus, Web of Science and other databases for review and indexing after publication.

Prof. Junyong Liu, Sichuan University, China
Fushuan Wen received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1991, all in electrical engineering. He joined the faculty of Zhejiang University in 1991, and has been a full professor since 1997. He is also a part-time distinguished professor under Yusheng XUE Education Foundation in Hangzhou Dianzi University, Hangzhou, China. He had been a university distinguished professor, the deputy dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and the director of the Institute of Power Economics and Electricity Markets in South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, from 2005 to 2009. He is a professor in the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics, Tallinn University of Technology, taking leave from Zhejiang University. His research interests lie in power industry restructuring, power system alarm processing, fault diagnosis and restoration strategies, as well as smart grids and electric vehicles.
Prof. Fushan Wen, Zhejiang University, China

Prof. Qing-Long Han, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia
Professor Han is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Quality) and a Distinguished Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. He held various academic and management positions at Griffith University and Central Queensland University, Australia. He received the Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in 1997.rofessor Han was awarded The 2021 Norbert Wiener Award (the Highest Award in systems science and engineering, and cybernetics), The 2021 M. A. Sargent Medal (the Highest Award of the Electrical College Board of Engineers Australia), The 2021 IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica Norbert Wiener Review Award, The 2020 IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Society Andrew P. Sage Best Transactions Paper Award, The 2020 IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics Outstanding Paper Award, and The 2019 IEEE SMC Society Andrew P. Sage Best Transactions Paper Award.
Prof. Yang Han, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China
Dr. Han has received several national and provincial projects, and more than 20 industrial projects in the area of power electronics, smart grid, microgrid, and power quality analysis and compensation. He holds more than 30 issued and pending patents. Dr. Han was listed as “World Top 2% Scientist 2020” by Stanford University in 2020, and the recipient of the Young Scientist Award in CPESE 2021, the Provincial Science and Technology Award in 2020, Science and Technology Award from Sichuan Electric Power Company in 2019, Academic Talent Award by UESTC, in 2017, Baekhyun Award by the Korean Institute of Power Electronics, in 2016. He has published a book “Modeling and Control of Power Electronic Converters for Microgrid Applications”, ISBN: 978-3-030-74512-7, Springer. He served as an Associate Editor of Journal of Power Electronics (2019.01-2020.12) and IEEE ACCESS.
Prof. Zhifang Yang, Chongqing University, China
Zhifang Yang received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University in 2018. He currently works as an assistant professor at Chongqing University. His research interests include power system optimization and economic analysis. Zhifang Yang has published more than 30 peer reviewed papers in journals and conferences. He is the principle investigator of projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, State Grid Corp. of China, and other companies. He serves as the vice-chair of Task Force on Composite Reliability Assessment of IEEE PES, secretary of IEEE PES Chongqing chapter and actively participates in other international academic organizations and conferences.
Dr. Bo Zhao, Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company, China
Zhao Bo received a Ph.D. degree from the College of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University in 2005. He is a professorate senior engineer with Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company, and also the director of the Technology Research and Development Center. He has been engaged in the research of distributed power generation, energy storage, and micro-grid for more than ten years. As the technical leader, he has undertaken 3 National 863 Programs, 1 National Key R&D Program, and 2 National Natural Science Foundation Programs. He has received more than 10 provincial and ministerial awards and has successively won honors such as Zhejiang Province Working Model and State Grid Special Class Working Model. He established the first self-developed microgrid laboratory, which has won the title of Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory and State Grid Corporation Key Laboratory. His recent research has focused on the planning, control, and energy management of hydrogen-electric coupling systems.
Prof. Eric Cheng, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HKSAR, China
He is the electrical designer for the Hong Kong 1st commercial electric vehicle in Hong Kong. He is also the designer of the 1st charging network in Hong Kong. He received numerous awards related to electrical engineering, energy, and automotive. He has published over 500 papers and 7 books. He has over 100 interviews with the media on his research and development. He is now the professor and director of the Power Electronics Research Centre of the university. His research interests are all aspects of power electronics, Power Quality, Renewable energy, Motor drives, Energy Saving, EMI, high-speed rail, Electric Vessel, Electric Vehicles, and Automotive advanced components. He is the recipient of the international award in Seoul International Invention Fair 2015 Gold prize for his contribution in super-capacitor to electric vehicles, 2016 iCAN Gold Medal for his contribution to active suspension, and Gold Award of Hong Kong Innovation and Technology in 2017 and Geneva’s Invention Expo Silver Award for his contribution in the antilock braking system, in 2021. Prof. Cheng is a chartered engineer, and a fellow of IEEE, HKIE, and IET.
