Managing, Marketing and Financing Organizations in an Era of Economic Uncertainty

In this era of financial and economic uncertainty, it is vital to have research papers in all areas that will shed some light on issues that are of paramount importance to managing, marketing and financing organizations successfully. The Academy of World Business, Marketing and Management Development (AWBMAMD) aims to share research knowledge that exists in the world in various functional areas of business through double blind review conference papers and publications. Although papers accepted for presentation as a result of the double blind peer review process will be published in the Conference Proceedings (subject to meeting AWBMAMD’s publication requirements), the publication of the papers is not an endorsement of the content of any of the papers by the Academy of World Business, Marketing and Management Development. The authors of each of the papers are also responsible for ensuring that manuscripts they have submitted for publication in the proceedings have not been published elsewhere and contain no material previously published or written by another person, except when due reference is made in the text of the paper. A full paper must be at least 5 pages long. The Conference Proceedings will be supplied to all conference participants and will have an ISBN. Since the conference is of national and international significance as it covers so many important business related areas, the proceedings will be made available for sale to the general public. Manuscripts should contain a 100 word abstract and conform to the Harvard style of writing or to the style of the American Psychological Association or follow any other acceptable referencing style. The manuscript must be clearly written without any spelling or grammatical errors. General style/format guide includes:
Competitive papers must be no longer than 15 pages (all inclusive). Work in progress papers must be no longer than 5 pages (all inclusive). Abstract only paper must not be more than one page. For every page that is over the specified number of pages, twenty Australian dollars (A$20) per page will be charged.
Manuscripts must not have been previously published.
Manuscripts should be single spaced, Times New Roman font, 12pt with 2.4cm margin on all four sides and using Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 or Windows 2007. The title of your paper must be written in bold capital letters using 12pt Times New Roman font. Although all sub-headings (e.g. ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, METHODOLOGY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSION) should also be in capital letters using 12pt Times New Roman font, they should not be written in bold letters.
All tables and figures should be incorporated into the body of the paper.
The paper should have two covers. The first cover should contain the title, abstract, full authorship, authors' academic degrees, professional titles, affiliations, postal and Email addresses, acknowledgment of research sponsors and assistance. This should then be followed by another cover that only indicates the article title and the abstract (this will be used for anonymous refereeing). This second cover should be followed by the full paper.

2. Regarding publications in the conference proceedings, AWBMAMD conferences will allow authors to decide whether to publish the complete paper in the proceedings or to publish only the abstract. Upon acceptance of a paper, the author(s) agree that:

At least one author will present the paper at the conference and must pre-register as a condition for publication in the conference proceedings and,
The copyright will belong to the Academy of World Business , Marketing and Management Development unless they choose to publish only a one page abstract.
3. The best competitive papers presented at AWBMAMD conferences will be considered for possible publication in either of the following refereed journals but must be revised and subjected to another double blind peer review process:

WHO CAN ATTEND THE CONFERENCE?
PRESENTERS: People can attend the conference if they have submitted a paper which has been blind reviewed and accepted and if they have paid the registration fee. The conference registration fee covers the Monday Night Cocktail party, all Conference sessions, morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks, two working lunches, Wednesday night dinner and the Conference Proceedings.
NON-PRESENTERS: People can also attend the conference as an Observer to listen to the presentations of papers without presenting a paper of their own, if they have paid the registration fee. The conference registration fee covers the Monday Night Cocktail party, all Conference sessions, morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks, two working lunches, Wednesday night dinner and the Conference Proceedings.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

All travellers (with the exception of European citizens/permanent residents) must have a visa to enter Hungary. The Embassy office in your country or region will be able to provide information regarding specific visa guidelines.
