ICCA 2011 - 9th IEEE International Conference on Control & Automation (IEEE ICCA'11)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The 9th IEEE International Conference on Control & Automation (IEEE ICCA’11) will be held from December 19 to 21, 2011, in Santiago, Chile. The conference is jointly organized by IEEE Control Systems Chapter, Singapore, Chilean Association of Auto-matic Control, ACCA (IFAC Member) and IEEE - Chile, and is technically sponsored by IEEE Control Systems Society, University of Chile, University of Santiago, P. Catholic University and Talca University. It aims to create a forum for scientists and practicing engineers throughout the world to present the latest research findings and ideas in the areas of control and automation.
Santiago is the capital of Chile, and the center of its largest conurbation (Greater Santiago). It was founded by the Spanish Conquistador Pedro de Vadivia on February 12th, 1541 in the Río Mapocho Valley, at the foothills of the Santa Lucía hill. It is located in the Central Valley, between the Cordillera de la Costa and Cordillera de los Andes. The climate of this area is Mediterranean and warm. The most important win-eries in the country are located in the valleys surrounding Santiago, a few kilometers away from the city. Its proximity to the Andes mountains lets visitors enjoy winter sports in Valle Nevado, Portillo and Farellones ski resorts. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean allows also visiting the colorful Valparaíso and the nice beaches of Viña del Mar.
ICCA Proceedings are included in EI Compendex, IEEE Xplore and ISI Proceedings (ISTP).
