AEIT 2011 - 2011 International Workshop on Assistive Engineering and Information Technologies (AEIT2011).
Topics/Call fo Papers
The Second International Workshop on Assistive Engineering (AEIT2011)
will be held between August 24-26, 2011, in Dalian, China, in conjunction with the 14th IEEE International Conference on Computational Science and Engineering (CSE2011, http://ncc.dlut.edu.cn/~cse11/). The First workshop of AEIT was held in Changchun, China, last year. The motivation of this workshop is to introduce the recent progress of assistive engineering. It is expected that engineering is applied for welfare of person with disabilities and senior citizens in modernization society. The relative fields of the workshop include the applications of information technology, mechanical electronic, biological engineering, multimedia technology, communication technology, material science, image processing and brain science on assistive engineering, and so on.
You are invited to submit papers focusing on problems and new challenges of the topics. All submissions must describe original research, not published or currently under review for another conference or journal. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
Assistive information engineering
Multimedia and Information Accessibility
Assistive machine and equipment
Braille recognition and its applications
Nursing robot
Artificial limb
Sense engineering
Communication technology and telemonitoring system
Rehabilitation science and technology
