Introduction


The HighCloud 2011 Workshop consists of invited papers in the field of Cloud Computing. The goal of HighCloud 2011 is to provide an additional forum within IUCC 2011 for interaction among researchers and further discussion on the Cloud Computing. The topical areas covered by this workshop include but are not limited to:

Cloud Architecture
Cloud Middleware
Cloud Storage
Cloud Security
SaaS, PaaS, IaaS
Virtualization of Hardware/Software
Design Issues for Cloud Computing
Cloud Application and Challenges




Important Dates


Submission Deadline: April 01, 2011
Authors Notification: June 01, 2011
Final Manuscript Due: June 25, 2011


Submission Guideline


Authors are invited to submit papers presenting original and unpublished work related to the topics of the workshop. Submitted papers should be formatted in a two-column IEEE Computer Society format (URL: http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formattin...) and should not exceed eight pages including figures and references. The author registration date and the final manuscript due date please follow the announcements on the IUCC 2011 web site. Papers should be submitted electronically in PDF format (or postscript) by sending it as an e-mail attachment to zhbliu-AT-gmail.com.


Publication


Accepted papers will appear in IUCC 2011 proceedings to be published by IEEE Computer Society Press (indexed by EI). Authors (at least one) of any accepted paper are requested to register at the conference.
Distinguished papers accepted and presented in HighCloud 2011, after further extension and revisions, will be published in special issues of the following SCI-Indexed Journals:

Future Generation Computer Systems.
Security and Communication Networks.
International Journal of Parallel, Emergent, and Distributed Systems.
